These paintings tell stories. For me they are about the aging dancer, the beautiful but jaded carnival girls, the passion and power of the tango dancers, the loneliness of an old vagrant enjoying his morning smoke. The paintings are done in a loose, impressionistic fashion. Most are watercolor on paper, some watercolor on canvas with accents of pastel and charcoal. A few are painted with acrylic, enhanced with pastel and one or two are oil paintings.
